Hello world, I know this blog has been on a slow motion mode for quite a while, but I have a big project going on and I am trying to enjoy every step of it!
It does not mean that I am not doing anything else…the sewing machine has still been running a long way every month. And because my children love the idea of flying on their own around the world, I needed to help them build their wings.
Materials: Felt, fabric, ribbon, sewing material, a good pair of scissors and a lot of patience!
This summer, we spent most of our time on the beach!
We have done a fair bit of gardening, and are now amazed by the amount of vegetables and fruits we are harvesting!
Painting was a favorite too!

Une chose est sure, toutes les petites filles ont besoin d’une jupe ronde qui tourne! Ma mini miss virevolte du matin au soir, elle adore sa jupe et je crois que je vais même en coudre une pour moi…Bon pour le patron c’est très simple, il suffit de couper un cercle de tissu et d’y ajouter un élastique. A vos machines, top départ!
Every little girl should have a circle Skirt ! My miss spins round and round all day long, I think I should sew another one for me…For the pattern it is really simple, just cut a round piece of fabric and add an elastic. Ready, steady, sew!
Do you remember this fishing game I sewed 2 years ago?? Recently, I failed under the pressure of my little one, and I made 2 “real” fishing poles, with sticks. Thanks to one of my friend who gave me the adress of Made by Joel Blog where he built 2 fishing poles, there are much more simple than mine, why do I always complicate things? Well let’s look at the pictures because there is no word to describe the shark fishing or the sea horse fishing!!
Ah que le temps passe vite…vous souvenez vous de cette pêche à la ligne que j’avais cousu il y a bientôt 2 ans?? Et bien j’ai craqué sous la pression du petit d’homme, et j’ai fabriqué 2 “vrai” cannes à pêche, avec des bâtons.
Une amie m’a donné l’adresse d’un blog extra Made by Joel, ou il a conçu des cannes à pêche avec des branches et des bobines de fils. Je me suis vraiment compliqué la vie avec les miennes…La suite en images car il n’y a pas de mot pour d’écrire la pêche aux requins ou encore la pêche à l’hippocampe !!
Une autre petite robe pour remplir la grade robe de la mini miss, patron japonnais du livre (pattern:) Onna no ko fuku, tezukuri no fuku
Toujours aussi simple à coudre ces patrons. Une modification cependant:suppression des élastiques des manches, et manches fendues à la place.
