What a find! On the side of the road, in the middle of old bikes, was an old typing machine, with a Grec alphabet! After a good wash we gave it to the children in the beginning of a rainy afternoon.They spend the full afternoon playing with it, being police officer taking complaints or giving fine to the other one and even creating a ”Wanted” poster!

Quelle trouvaille, sur le bord de la route, au milieu de vieux vélos, il y avait une vielle machine à écrire, avec l’alphabet Grecque! Après l’avoir nettoyé, nous l’avons donné aux enfants au début d’un apres-midi pluvieux. Ils ont joué aux policiers l’après-midi entier tapant des plaintes ou donnant des amendes, ils ont même accroché une affiche d’avis de recherche!

C’est rigolo comment un objet puisse inspirer un jeu de rôle si précis dans leur esprit.

Plusieurs mois sans un Post, l’heure est grave….vais-je pouvoir faire survivre ce blog?

Bon en même temps j’ai des bonnes excuses; un déménagement, des vacances bien remplies avec un total de 3200km parcouru, la construction d’un nouveau potager….et j’en passe.

Tiens en parlant de potager j’ai commencé à récupérer les graines des fruits, légumes et fleurs qui poussent à une allure folle en ce moment (oui oui c’est bien l’été ici, les grandes vacances même…) Et grâce à une presse en bois (achetée dans une boutique absolument ravissante : Fine&Sunny à Mildura-Australie) j’ai pu confectionner des mini-pots en papiers journaux pour y planter mes graines à l’abri des oiseaux gourmands, le temps qu’elles grandissent un peu:

Few months without a Post, the situation is serious, am I going to be able to make this blog survive?

Well at the same time I have good excuses; a move, holidays with a total of 3200km, the construction of a new vegie-patch and more…

Speaking about garden, I began to collect the seeds of fruits, vegetables and flowers which grow so fast at the moment. And thanks to a wooden press (bought in an absolutely charming shop in Mildura-Vic: Fine&Sunny !)

I was able to make mini-pots in newspapers to plant my seeds inside, away from the greedy birds.

Et puis tant que l’on est dans le rayon Nature, voici une activité pour vos chérubins:

Prendre des feuilles de papiers et les coloriés en tenant la feuille sur un tronc d’arbre pour y faire apparaitre le dessin de l’écorce.Répéter sur d’autre types d’arbres.Récolter quelques feuilles au passage, découper, coller et voilà:

Bark and Leaf activity for the children:
